pimple or coldsore

Ok so I've been using proactive for about 5 years now and my face has been pretty clear for most of those 5 years. Lately though I've been getting clusters of pimples on the sides of my mouth and my chin. Usually in each little clusters there about 6 or more small pimples. Some pimples have like 2 or 3 white dots (white heads) in one raised area. I have had these clusters for over a month now and I dont know how to get rid of them...I've even been using my proactive 3 times a day but nothing works because I thought they were pimples the entire time. Now though I think they might be coldsores because of what I have looked up about them. So my question is are they pimples or coldsores, and how do I get rid of them.
