pimple turned purplish

I got a pimple about a week ago under my right eye.  Over the course of the week and into this week the pimple will not go away, I got another pimple on my chin that went away and the one under my right eye won't go away.  I use Proactiv every day and still the pimple won't go away.  The pimple has worsened in that it has turned a purplish color.  It's not big and it doesn't hurt either, doesn't itch, or doesn't burn.  It doesn't bother me except for the fact that its there!!  I don't know what it is...is it a pimple or what could it be?  I am a 24 year old female, no health problems, I rarely get pimples.  Does anyone know what can help?
