please help!!! :(

im seventeen. i have bad acne and scars... i had ice pick scars and box car scars i do believe. i also have red scars all on one side of my face and they wont go away. my face is still breaking out. im wanting to go to a dermatologist to see if they can give me any advice. does the medication they prescribe usually help? im curious about that. please help if you have any advice. this is bothering me so bad! ugh. im so embarrassed.

yes they will prescribe just what you need.don't worry your acne will go away as you age also.i had very bad acne when i was your age and now i have acne free skin accept for on my back

Don't worry whatever dermatologist you go to will give you the right medication for your acne problems. I had the same experience when I was a bit younger, now most of the acne scars have gone and my skin is returning to its natural beauty. Keep the faith my dear.
