red blister like papule on cheek

For the past week I have had this red blood filled bliste like thing on my cheek. It started as a pimple and I kept picking at it. It was healing and scabbed over and was flat. I accidently scratched it and it started bleeding like crazy and took awhile to stop. Now it is a raised and kind of hard.. I was just wondering if there is any idea of what it is and how to treat and get rid of it. It doesn't hurt, just unpleasant to look at.
