red facial skin /chin

I have had acne for a while, spots come and go but for years i have had a very red chin i always thought that it would go away is there any thing else that it could be.
iam only 18 so i thought that it was just natural

No one has to put up with acne, see your GP for a course of oral antibiotics such as Oxytetracycline 250mg twice daily, to kill acne-causing bacteria on the skin. He may also advise use of a prescription-strength acne gel such as Differin (adapalene 0.1%).
Use a good quailty shaving gel such as one by Clinique. They also make a post-shave balm which reduces redness in the chin area. If you use a topical acne gel use this at night. In the morning wash your face before shaving. Use a fresh razor blade each time and pat dry with a clean towel.
