red rash on my chin

I have had this red rash on my chin, upper lip area and around my nose for a few years now.  It gets very red, dry and burns at times. It fades but it does not go away.  Then it will get very red and burn for a week.  I don't know what it can be but is very bothersome.  I am so embarrassed it shows through my make up and causes discomfort.  

The picture I posted is when its not so bad but it gets bright red.

I do not see a link to a photo, but it sounds like perioral dermatitis.  This article with pics may be helpful.
