scab from popping pimple hurts

pooped a pimple my skin is very dry from the weather here being so cold like zero that the sab thats on my face now is craking and it hurts its so dry.you think putting a non comedogenic moisturizer on a scab would be bad?its so dry it hurts and im thinking if the scabs to dry it wall fall off to soon and not heal right.or do you think i should just leave the scab alone and let it heal on its own?what would you do?thanks

theres prob still a little bit of stuff in the pimple. on that note i would put like a neosporin/bacetracin directly on the scab and mosturize around it lightly. should help it clear up and stop cracking. goood luck!
