I recently received a few shots of cortisone for a bad patchAllergy testing Skin color - patchy of excema. The rash completely went away within days, however I was left with indentation marks where the cortisone was injected. Is this permanent? I read that this could be temporary and I should wait it out, that they might fill in. Thanks, any advice would be appreciated.
Marks on the skin are not considered permanent scars unless they have been there for a year, as they very often fade within this time. I have not heard of an injection of cortisone leaving a permanent mark. Where on your body did they inject it? I have had cortisone introveniously but it was injected into my arm (where you'd have a drip) the rash was on my faceFace pain. It might also be possible for you to be treated orally or topically. Do mention your concerns to medical staff should you require treatment again. Loiloi x
