small bumps, rash

by samdar, Feb 06, 2009 04:56PM
I have always had acne since I was a teenager but was thinking I was getting it under control.  Now, I have gotten small bumps, not really pimples just small bumps, now they seem to moving down my neck and to my chest.  We have a hot tub however they started on my face and I don;t get my face in the water howver they started about a two weeks after we got our hot tub.  I always thoroghly shower after getting out and I use a facial cream I have used for tw years that was really working well before this.  Do you have any suggestions?

The heat from the hot tub may be causing you to sweat more than usual and sweat can block the sebacous glands, worsening acne-prone skin. Avoid using it and see if your skin improves. If it doesn't your doctor will be able to prescribe an effective acne gel such as Differin, Dalacin or Duac.
