small white bump

almost a year ago a white bump, the size of pimple, appeared on the middle of my thigh. it has no head, that i can see, and i'm unable to pop it. i'm almost sure it's not zit since i've had it so long and i'm afraid it could be something a lot worse. it's never grown in size or been irritated, but it still worries me. i havent had insurance in over a year and i am unable to pay an expensive dermatology bill so i haven't gone to the doctors for it. please help!

I think you this is probably not a sever problem might be a simple as just a wart. Fallow the simple gideline to identify harmful growths: is it round or irregularly shaped (should be round)? how big? bigger than your pinky (it should not be)? is it oddly colored and is the color ununiform (darker in some spots indicates a possible problem)? are you getting more? if none of this apply then you are probably fine. I am no expert though.

If it looks similiar to a pimple, try putting a hwat wrap over the area (over your jeans or wrapped in a towel) and let it sit for 15 mins. And the see if you could pop it. If it pops and comes out all cheesy looking and has a foul odor, than its most likely a cyst. I had one on my back for 3 years before I went to the doctor. Its not real bad, its just like an infection of a sort, they say its a cyst because its very similiar and can become one if all the stuff doesnt come out. Btw..if you squeeze it a.d stuff comes out, do the same thing the next day and the next until nothing is coming out. Hope this helped!
