steroid acne

i was taking stereoids for about 20 weeks when i came off them i started to get realy bad acne all over my chest and upper arms and back and shoulders.They are realy inflamed and red with little bit of yellow puss.Is there anything that i can take to get rid of them?

It is likely that the steroids caused the acne and it will resolve itself now you have discontinued treatment with steroids. An over the counter product called Freederm will help with inflamed acne. Should your acne continue your doctor can prescribe a gel such as Duac or Differin, or a course of topical antibiotics such as oxytetracycline. Loiloi x
