umm help, hair loss

i have ALOT ...(like alot...like i could donate) of hairloss from accutane. does it grow back? i only took it for a month. at 40mg a day. its pretty bad. every one always tells horror stories and never really answers with success stories... help? im devasted. im overseas and its hard to get to a doc to help, and the one that gave me accutane says that they dont know. im i doomed baldness and acne... or will my lushious hair be redeemed??!!

Hi. Accutane shrinks the sebacous glands and sometimes the hairs which grow from them are affected. Temporary hair loss (alopecia) or an increase of hair growth (hirsutsim) may occur. Such side effects usually reverse 5 weeks after stopping the medicine.
Accutane has many potential side effects but this must be balanced against the fact that it can result in a long term remission from severe acne, where other treatments have resulted in failure or relapse.
Why did you stop Accutane after one month?

it should get better after you stop. also certain foods are known to help, search stuff about biotin and hair loss. may help. good luck.

i quit because i started losing hair. you can over acne with hair but not baldness with acne.
