white scars on forehead of teenage girl

My 13 year old daughter has white circular spots on her forehead along the hair line and half way down her forehead.
They don't seem to fade over time.  We're not sure if they are after affects from acne.  She doesn't have an acne problem, very mild pimple situation.  

We'd like to know how to make these white spots go away.  People are asking her what they're caused by and we don't know!

Hi. Post-acne marks are usually pink or brown and can be removed either by an over the counter lotion such as Clinique's Even Better skin Tone Remover or with Retin-a from your doctor.
However, you should repost this in the Dermatology forum as this does not sound like acne.
