Acupuncture and urinary symptoms

Do you have experience with acupuncture in alleviating urinary symptoms such as a large urine residual in the bladder after urinating? I am being treated for this condition but would like to test integrative paths.

Bladder problems can be quite complex. A good Chinese medicine doctor must identify the patterns surrounding your condition and treat according to those patterns. Acupuncture and Herbs are effective for this condition.

Thank you for your answer.

I wonder how AC compares to the gold standard to treat lower urinary tract symptoms such as severe residual. Beside medical and herbs for mild to severe conditions the gold standard here is surgical TURP or equivalent methods (TUIP, HoLEP etc..) for severe conditions.

Do we have RCTs which would allow me to study AC for these conditions?
