The common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen (CALLA) is a 749-amino acid type II integral membrane protein expressed by most acute lymphoblastic leukemias.

If there are not enough platelets, the blood will not clot properly. Symptoms include:
Bleeding or bruising easily
Nosebleeds
Bleeding gums
Tiny red spots under the skin

Due to this reason you have to go for blood transplantation whenever the need arises. Only with absolute cure of the leukaemic condition he will be able to produce Blood cells properly.
