As a mother who daughter also has substance abuse issues, I know where you are coming from.  Unfortunately I am trying to recover myself, so I am extremely full of guilt. feeling responsible for some of my daughters problems and addiction patterns.  However, I also know that  a lot of her problems have stemmed from depression and other issues.  I know how hard it is to watch your daughter do this to herself and it is sad and heart wrenching.  But one thing I have learned is no matter how hard I try to get her to clean up, it just isin't going to happen until she is ready to make that step herself.  Ofcourse we will worry constantly and think about it constantly but the fact that you are there for her and want to help her will mean so much to her.  She may not seem to want to listen to you but one day you will know that she was listening. She may seem tol keep putting up walls because she is not ready to quit.  I hope she does'nt get in trouble with her prob. officer but she is definetly going down a path where that could definetly happen and moms we can do only so much. I wish I had the magic answer for you but I don't. I will say you have come to the right place the people on this forum and other forums are unbelievably helpful.  It is a tough battle.  Sounds like your definetly trying to research it and find out how to help.  that will help you lots. good luck keep posting
