my wife is addicted to hydro

my wife has been taking various forms of hydrocodone for several years now and she has been trying to quit for about 2 months now without being able to last more than a week clean.  4 days ago she started another  clean streak and now today she is awful.  depression beyond belief, suicidal, cramping, stomach pains, ect.....  
  money is tight these days so rehab or detox is out of the question. last time she tried i bought he 100 methadones to try and ween her from the hydro and she wound up getting hooked on that.  so i found someone who had some suboxone and bought them and they workede but there just to expensive he charged me 15 a strip. and to get a perscription for he  and to get it filled would cost me over 500.00 due to the fact that id have to take her to a mental health doc and out insurance woulodnt cover that. so my question is what can i do to help he  be sucessfull this time?
and is there annything out there to help   her that a family doc can perscribe that bcbs insurance would cover?

The thing you can do to start to help is do NOT buy any more pills on the street.  I think you see that that is not the way to go here?

Take her to a doctor if she is suicidal.  I have BCBS and there are things she can get to help like I did, and your insurance will pay.  An antidepressant would be a good start.  Maybe some clonidine for the WDs.  It's not habit forming.  Imodium (immodium) and vitamins will also help more than you might think.

she hasnt actuaqlly attempted suicide she just said stuff like i just wanna die.  and i have put my foot down and am not going to buy her anny more pills.  she is on paxil allready and has been for ten years now.  she also has blood pressure  pills but im not sure of the name.  other than me she dosnt really have anny support  he mother and sister both are on lora tabs as well witch is where she picked up the habbit. clonidine  what is it used  to treat?

hi and welcome to MH. yes no more pills that is why she is in the mess in the first place. the clonidine is used to treat blood pressure. if she already takes pills for bp, just monitor her bp, do you have a bp cuff? she will need to drink lots of fluids, gatorade,vitamin water. hot baths with epsom salts for the aches and pains. she can also take 800 mg of motrin.
she has been off ALL PILLS  for 4 days? she should start to feel better in a few more days. it is better if she moves around, laying down makes it worse. she has to force herself. let us know how she is doing
