Any calcification after Gall Bladder Surgery?

Any calcification after Gall Bladder Surgery?

I had my Gall Bladder removed 2 years ago & I was discharged after an overnight stay.

I knew I didn't feel right.  I had little pain, but I felt really unwell.  On the 2nd night at home I decided to speak to a professional who told me to go straight to A & E.  I did & they discovered I'd lost half of my blood somewhere & they didn't know where.  As it happened it was in my chest cavity.  They prepared me for surgery to remove it, but then changed their minds (as it wasn't presenting a problem) & let it disperse.

I recovered from that & haven't looked back.  I've been able to eat & drink normally, even alcohol without any effect at all.  Lately, however I have begun to have pain the the same area.  On 1 occasion recently it was so bad I got my Husband to take me to the surgery--it was either that or A & E.  It was just like a bad attack when I had my Gall Stones--the pain, sweating etc.

I've just had a scan & they've found calcification around the blood vessels.  I'm having an endoscopy on Friday.  Has anyone else had something similar?  Can anyone explain why this has happened?  Is it anything to do with the major bleed I had?  Many thanks for any replies.
