Best News EVER!!!

Im not sure if this for here or not but here goes.  My daughter, who is very bitter towards me called tonight.  We have been having conversations on and off for awhile now and tonight she asked me if i wanted my grandbaby for a couple days!!!!  She told me i seem calmer and when she has seen me i look better and she really doesnt want to keep him from me anymore as it is not fair to him or me!!!  I just started to bawl.  I GET to have him at MY HOUSE!!!!  So for 23hrs 59 min. i am going to hug and kiss him and after that i dont know what we will do!!!!!  AND THEN in a week i get to take him to the Walk with the Dinosaurs at the Excel Center in Minneapolis.  This has to be a dream come true for me right now.  Thanks for listening to me!!!!             sara

First and foremost, I am so happy to hear about  your  wonderful reuion,    the absolute best outcome for your daughter, grandson and you;  thank you for sharing such a heart warming story. I think your post would be a great addition to any board!!  It is a great motivator, real life example,  for  many whom have seen their lives and that of their loved ones so negatively impacted by drugs. There is hope to heal those wounds thru committed dedication to sobriety, and that other great healer, called time.

You sound like a wonderful woman,  there is no greater gift your daughter could give her son that the love and presence of his grandma in his life.   May you always cherish your time of building great memories.

That's WONDERFUL!!!!!!  I'm SO happy for you...and it's nice to read something so pleasant.  Kiss him for me...I love the way kids smell..I used to grab my kids and just sniff 'em and kiss 'em all over their cute wittle heads!

I'm happy for you. I have 2 grand-daughters. They are coming over for the weekend and I bought them some cool stuff to play with in the pool. My husband says I bought the stuff for myself but that's not true.
