See what a little fame will do to you.  An athlete who worked so hard .....so freakin hard ....8 gold medals.  As soon as he gets back, he is in every hollywood night club 7 days a week, a different chick on each arm and every drug known to man probably on a gold platter .......he go really cokky and arrogant.....I guess its hard not to when your that young and everyone is telling you how great you are.  It was a great achievement, but dang it !!......

He had 10 lifetimes of cash flow ......ouch ! that's gotta hurt.........

Yeah I think it's unfair. Most people have smoked pot at some point.  They are making a huge deal outta nothing. ( I think)  Did they even say if the picture was recent ?

That's what I was wondering ......I mean Obama even admitted to experimenting with drugs.....Our Gov. of California said he smoked pot, even My Bill Clinton.....come on...it looked like it wasn't recent, but he really got caught up in the Hollywood ****, and maybe was not his best choice being America's Boy Wonder.......I dunno.  I have mixed feelings about it, but man.......he is losing a lot because of this......I would think it was recent if he was suspended for two weeks ?......and even something about not letting him attend the next Olympic's.......come on !!

I do feel sorry for him.....he had a estranged relationship with his father, probably was not the most popular in school, and sudden fame ........I think they should cut him some slack.  I will still eat my wheaties if his face is on the box.......trying to take away his amazing achievement because of a bong hit I think is a bit harsh.......

I agree...he blew it big time.  But who hasn't made mistakes.  Nauty is right.  He got caught up in the fame and fortune.  I feel sorry for him.  He has to feel like a complete a$$.  Now he has to pay the PRICE.
Very sad indeed.  In a couple weeks the media will find someone else to bury.

I personally think that it is involved with the dynamics of a "risk taking" or high achiever lifestyle.....I went to Indiana University and spent some time with Mark Spitz and Greg Louganis and George McGinnes - - - they each enjoyed a little liesure smoke sometimes. Along with some less acceptable social behaviors.  I gotta go look through my old photo's - - maybe the Enquirer would be interested?
