Broke down and got patches.

Not those patches.............Today is my first day on a Nicotine patch.
I quit smoking for 6 years twice. I guess I get the 6 year itch. I have been smoking for two years this time and thought I would try and get the last monkey off my back............

I used Zyban to quit smoking...easiest thing I've ever quit. Have you considered this route? My dad used the nicotine gum and did great on that, too. If the patches don't work, Zyban may be an option. It literally made a cigarette task like pure ****...caffeine, too. Congrats on trying to stop a bad habit.

I just started the patch today as well...I quit smoking well over 10 years ago just to start back up a year ago.  The patch works very good for me expect for those times throughout the day when I say, MAN I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A CIGARETTE!  Lots of gum works for me!  Good luck to you!  I am determined to quit again!
