Celebrity rehab

I cant sleep and was watching the VH1 show Celeb Rehab and I have to say I wish I could have detoxed in that center!  Its so nice.  Hell, I wish I could stay there right now.  I like Dr. Drew too.  People say that he is a fame--- but I dont know . he seems to really care about his patients.  Either way that recovery center is so nice and beautiful.

Dr. Drew is such a cutie isn't he? And it must be nice to detox with all the medication they are always giving out. They are always getting a pill or a shot for something unlike the C/T I went through.
Now Gary Bussey is a nut I wonder how much longer he's going to make it.
That's a great show 2nd season I have watched.

this season is much better.  They are showing much more of the reality of withdrawal.  Last season....they really didn't show the ugly side.  They made it look so easy.  I wasn't happy with that.  Much better this time.  I love the show.

It is on thursdays for me at 11am on VH1.  I agree nauty, it is much more hard core this season and it breaks my heart to watch some of them.  They really seem to care about getting better and changing their life and they are so raw and real.  
One thing I did realize while watching it is that some of them you know you hear their stories and you remember back to when that was in the papers -- the rodney king beating, the tawny kitean arrest -- and you realize that to us it was just a headline on the enquirer that was eventually placed with a new headlne and a new story.  To them, though, it is their lives and they suffered, and they still are suffering.  I appreciate that they admit to all that on TV and make people feel less alone.

I need help with the ****** anxiety that comes over me after a while. I've been on Oxicotin for 5 yrs.40 mg. im coming off of it now.
I have done really good with the help of suboxon.  Its that damned anxiety that has a grip on me. can anyone tell me why im getting this. when does it go away ? what can i do to help get rid of it?

Hi and welcome - I dont want to give you the wrong advice but there are non narcotic medications and herbal supplements that can help with anxiety.  I just dont know if they can be taken with suboxone.,  Have you spoken to the doctor who is prescribing the sub about this anxiety?  To answer your question about why, i think it very normal during detox and it should pass within the first few weeks.  I just dont know much about sub so I dont know if that changes things.  May I suggest that you create a new post with your question as there are a lot of really smart people here who can help you.  You would do that by clicking at the top where it says "Post a Question".  Hang in there, you are doing the right thing getting off the oxy and things WILL improve .
