yeah i do remember OJ being in at least one of them (going down stairs on a wheelchair comes to mind) . its been many years since Ive seen any of those movies. I wish I had known they were going to be on last weekend!
The one with OJ Simpson.......that's the first one ....I think. Omg......I still die laughing when I see that. I was the only one in the theater cracking up. I think alot of people missed it, or they didnt' think it was funny. I don't why, but It just struck me as so cleverly humorous........lol. Funny how stupid little things make you crack-up when others look at you like ...why?.........I love super witty slapstick.....not everyone gets it...
anyway......the one with OJ.....first I believe......its a quick shot and easy to miss......lol.
Luv,
Nauty............
thanks Nauty for reminding me of even more movies i love!! Leslie Nielson is great in the Naked Gun movies! I love slapstick comedy!
now, which one of the naked guns was this line from?
RAW SEWAGE, I LOVE IT!!
lol
(seriously, was that part 33 and 1/3)?? i cant remember..
Comedy Central had the Naked Gun Movies on today. ahhh they bust my gutz and do bring back some fine 80's memories.....I think those were 80's flicks???...
hows the hellz do you crave a movie? You'll have to teach me that one. The only thing about them I crave are the Junior mints, popcorn w/ butter flavored Crisco, and milk duds.......oh, and the cherry Slush Puppies........."Get Out !......Come Again" lol.
Was nice to see the old "Naked Gun" today. ......today this day, I laugh soooo hard when I see that part where they have the floating chalk line around where the body was floating in the ocean.......lmao!! .....I think im the only one that got it.....or thought that was so incredibly Clever!!! I'm laughing now thinking about it.....
Ok, i am rambling............
Nauaty..........
Oh i love when he flips out and goes and beats the cr@p out of the yard decorations!!! Love the sound of the antlers as he bashes them all!!!!!!!!!
another great Steve Martin movie is Parenthood (along with Rick Moranis and quite a few other well known stars)

National Lampoons Vacation is a true classic!!!! I laugh harder each time i watch it!!!
The Jerk never gets old for me. Gotta be a Steve Martin Fan though. Only he could pull it off lol. Congerats on day 3 of your second attempt. Corey
watched Urban Cowboy today
I love a really good comedy...there are so many. I hope your hubby finds Summer Rental...i think it's late 80's or early 90's. I do have several i can recommend, and hopefully some you haven't seen. For starters, there's one called "Tin Men" with Richard Dreyfus(sp?) and Danny Devito...it's about guys that sell aluminum siding in the 50's or 60's. It may be hard to find but it will keep ya goin'...i'll keep workin' on it. Who are some of your other favorites and what kind of stuff do you like?
omg i am a huge John Candy fan too! i loved all his movies!! Trains, Planes & Automobiles is my favorite though! Absolutely HILARIOUS!! I love the part where the car catches on fire after all the other BS that happened to them by that point in the movie too. Priceless LOL. That entire movie is awesome!
and yes, I love all those 80's movies (and music!) too!
oh thank you...sending the hubby out to rent summer rental right now....hopefully he can find it.
keep them coming please
hugs

I love 80's movies too...i also enjoy music and always have. I guess maybe it does help to escape to a time that was more care free, and things just seemed to be alot easier. I guess you have to do whatever works for you, and it looks like you're getting some much needed comfort in these. I like them whether i'm dealing with something or not. Just watched Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with Steve Martin & John Candy. That movie always makes me laugh.
