I'm fine, thanks..it's my wife I'm worried about...she seems to have been hit with withdrawl symptoms from her (prescribed) oxy and perc usage (written about last week) where the doc
cut her off.  We argued for a taper on the oxy (from 40mg to 30mg/day) and they cut the percs..so it seems to have caught up with her big time.  I suggested she call her doctor for Clonidine but no response to that yet.  Why the withdrawl nearly a week later, I don't know.  I may go Thomas recipe shopping tonight.

How are YOU today?

Congrads to you for 27 days!! Sorry to hear about your wife. I am a little confused though, is she still taking oxys or percs? She is lucky to have you there to take care of her : ) Let us know how you both are doing, also post how the Thomas recipe is doing. I was unable to use it. I am doing very well, thanks for asking! I have not had any meds for over a week now from going from 20 a day down to 5-6 then to as needed now to none. I am searching for alt. ways to deal with my pain besides pain meds. Take care : )

Thank you, but actually today it's 31!  Her doctor dropped the percs and put her on a taper for oxy's.  Long story (written about last week in a topic called "my wife and oxy's" or something like that.  She was on both percs and oxy's.  She asked her doctor for clonidine yesterday, their response was "we don't know anything about clonidine" and we're not giving you any more meds..'you're on your own'".
She called her dentist and was given 20 10mg vics (yes, she does have a bad tooth, seriously) which she says she'll use to help supplant the percs in her taper..

I was rather angry about that, but sympathetic with her withdrawl symptoms but in the long run I'm thinking detox for her, though I fought it last week.  We'll see
how the rest of the week goes.  In the meantime, I'm quite angry with her doctors.

We never got to the Thomas recipe.

I don't blame you for being angry with doctors, I have had my share of that myself. I feel for her this is not easy. Does she have pain still, from when she started the meds? I am dealing with that right now and it is getting really hard. Maybe she will decide detox is right for her. If I could have done it that way I would have. Let me know how it goes. Take care.
