Does the Weather bring on your Migraines,Asthma etc?

There is a free web site that will send you alerts about 48 hours before certain weather conditions will effect things like migraines, asthma, allergy's etc.
It's pretty cool. I woke up this morning with a migraine, hadn't checked my e-mail in 2 days, but there was a warning sent 2 days ago, that I might get a migraine within 48 hours.
There are all kind of medical conditions that are effected by the weather, so if you can be warned ahead of time, it can be a big help.
It's free and they go by the area you live in.
Check it out. Hope it helps some of you to be prepared for things to come.

Thanks magi...I get horrible migranes (migraines), and i have always beleived it had something to do with the weather, or seasons, etc....
What do you take for yours?   the only thing that works for me is imitrex...But if i can catch it before it is full blown, then i use excedrin migrane (migraine)..
My insurance use to only let me get limited supplies of imitrex because of the price, but now with the generic , it is so much cheaper....
thanks for the info!!

Wow,

Thank you for that! I am a weather head too. That is how my Hydro use came into play.
If the winds change I get one. They would burn me as witch if I lived back then.
I can predict rain, snow, big weather changes about 2 days in advance..  I use to use imtrex but it gave me kidney stones now it is Zomig but if I don't catch it in time I am done. Topmax as a preventive. I do know about the insurance thing 9 pills only for 4 weeks or 6 nasal sprays for 4 weeks. I could not pay for the Zomig but the hydro was much cheaper. My nuero and I are great friends.

I take excedrin Migraine, #1 because I don't have health ins. #2, because I don't get them to often. Mostly in the summer. Definitely when the barometric presure goes down.
This site is so great that it can warn you ahead of time. I know if I can take something before the migraine hits, I'm a lot better off. It's hard to get rid of if you take the meds after the fact.

I had to LOL at that idea for me! It would be useless for me to sign up for that, helll I can feel the weather changes coming farther than 48 hours out even LOL Plus the weather changes here so ridiculously frequent that it would be futile! Im glad that site helps so many others thought, thats a neat idea.

PS sorry to hear so many of you have migraines! That is one thing Ive never suffered in my life but I've known quite a few people in real life who have and I've seen how horrible they can be!
