Don't ya just love shopping for a swimsuit ladies?

Okay, this happened to me today....I was out shopping for a swimsuit today....and at this point in my journey, was in a Sears dressing room.  First off, who here doesn't feel like **** (I had to tone down what I actually wanted to say here ladies) when they try these freakin' things on anyway?  So, in the midst of great angst, frustration, and disappointment, I tried on a bathing suit top.  This particular one was in fact my size, and I had tried on many others that were similar.  Most of them had that shelf bra thingy in them, but this particular one had like major bracing in it.  I do not have huge bazongas or anything, so this was unnecessary at best, but I otherwise liked the top and didn't foresee the upcoming fiasco.  

I successfully got the top on...assessed the situation and decided it was not for me.  Then came the fun....I'm standing in this dressing room...trying with great effort, to remove the top...the "bracing" was rigid, and the security thingy was stapled into it, which provided even less wiggle room.  I'm cussing and swearing, turning 'round and 'round, putting my arms and upper body into variously different contorting positions, and cannot get the freakin' thing off!  I actually worked up a sweat!  I did not know what to do...after all, I had gotten the thing ON...and I went shopping alone, so if I required assistance, I was gonna have to walk into the store and get a stranger to yank the thing off.  I thought briefly, of calling someone on my cell phone to come help or at least to cry in frustration and laugh too, despite myself.  Instead, I stuck with it, and eventually got myself into what had to have been a very funny position, and got my own butt out of it.  Needless to say...I did NOT get that top...nor did I get any other.  I will be shopping on-line for the one I wanted in the first place tomorrow...provided I get back on this desktop again!

bathing suit shopping has to be one of the most stress filled things to do...I usually just high tail it out of there crying,  LOL  anyway...and taking my daughter who is 11 and all that good stuff was even more stress than I could handle...who designs these things!!!! I just end up tanning in my yard with my bra and panties...forget the beach...LOL

I am glad I don't wear those things and me and Sara just had that conversation!! I put on a pair of "bottoms" and asked the girls if I was too fat for them, and neither answered me, so of course, I am feeling REALLY NOT good, I go to the oldest's full length mirror and OMG, well I look at the tag and it is in little girls size!!! hehehehehe
I told them next time, just say yes and if they were to let me go into the yard like that, they would be in deep ****!! LOL

I personally hate bathing suit shopping.  First off they pad and lift everything.  I have not alot to lift so the the top misses the things they are to lift and just goes around it. The padding sticks out further than i do.  I dont give a **** about impressing anyone with my so called breasts but come on people!!!!  Now for the bottoms.  These are always to small so if you try and switch a bigger bottom to go with a top you found the salesperson always catches it.  THEN if you go for a one piece the bottoms go so far up your tailpipe i cant catch my breath.  Oh my, such troubles!!!!!  Im going to go naked and then the beach will be all mine!!!!!

I don't wear bathing suit or even shop for them normally.  I couldn't even remember the last one I bought.   I have a special occassion coming up, and since I really do like to swim and be in the water....I gave it a shot.  I haven't been swimming for years because of this issues.  Ah the glory of body issues!I swear stores would sell more clothing if they'd just fix the damned lighting in the booths too.  I'm not so sure I'd shop with glee, but at least I'd give it a try.  

I tried a spare power cord that my husband apparently had laying around, but unfortunately, I'm now holding THAT one in and typing with one hand.  No dice and I keep shutting off over here....ugh

Single worst experience in my life. I don't know what was worse, seeing my fat *** in a swim suit or paying $168 for the stupid thing? And tto top it off, I live in AZ, we are in the pool every day. It's not a pretty site at my house!! LOL!

He11 no!  I hate to even think about putting on a swimsuit.  After 2 years of Ambien, and the whole sleep eating thing, I gained about 40 pounds.  I don't even want to think about a swimsuit.
