Hi Bud!!
Sorry, Bud is my nickname for my close guy friends, and even though we talk on a forum, having never met each other, you know more about me than some of my friends do!! If you need to chitchat, or vent about withdrawals, you can instant message me any time. I'll be up all night, helping my friend prepare a seminar for tomorrow morning, that she SHOULD have been preparing since May, but started today. Yeah.
As for the Ritalin situation, I did what you said that next night, and after everyone had been here awhile, and we were getting comfy in the living room to watch a movie, I pretented like I was going to take a ritalin and I opened the bottle. I gasped ( this performance was oscar worthy) and said "oh my gosh, this bottle is over half empty and I just got it filled!" I feigned confusion, shock, and worry. Then I looked at everyone in the room and my "confusion" suddenly disappeared. I said " Listen, guys, I just got this filled yesterday, and I've only taken a few pills. SOMEBODY here had to have taken them. There is no other possible way they disappeared. I slyly glanced over at my brother in law, whose cheeks were burning, literally bright red. My husband noticed it, too, and knew immediately. ( I took your advice and didn't bring it up beforehand, that I though it was his brother...I wanted to see what would happen). Well, Jay, my husband, just looked at his brother and asked why he would do such a thing, and that taking that amount of Ritalin is so dangerous. My brother in law didnt deny it, but just got up and walked out. Jay chased him outside, worried about him, and they talked for over an hour outside, with his brother finally admitting that he had a problem, and he was sorry, and that in those few days, he'd taken ALL the pills he stole. I can't believe he didnt have a heart attack!! He has, however, agreed to get help, and his wife and i are looking into things right now. Its hard, because it isnt one certain drug hes addicted to...he just likes to be messed up on anything, you name it. He doesnt even have a favorite. The ritalin just happened to be there when he'd run out of xanax that someone gave him! So that's my story in a nutshell...yes, a nutshell, believe it or not...it was a long night, lol! Luv and hugs, Bud! Stay strong! If for nothing else, for your wife and kids.
