Yes, crazy how we all found eachother.
And I like you guys better than people I've known for years.. lol
I feel so blessed too. I can't believe I found this forum by accident and it has completely changed my life. I think Someone was guiding us and knew exactly where we were supposed to end up :)
you guys rock! the love and support hereis so heart touching, you all make me want to cry just for us meeting up the way we did. I am truely blessed!
I think the strongest men were raised by strong women :)
I know you are missing your son and it must be a hard night for you. It is so hard to say goodbye, but he will be back before you know it. You hang in there and know what a good man you raised.
((((((((((((((((((lonote)))))))))))))))))))
Love to ya,
Tim
You are right, you had to honor what he wanted. I can't even put myself in your place. My son is only 2 and it breaks my heart just to drop him off at daycare - I can't imagine watching him go off to join the military. I have so much respect for military men and women. I grew up a military brat, my brother is in the Navy - hell, I even married not one, but TWO Air Force men... lol. But you know what? I wouldn't want my son to join. But if the day comes where he decides that's what he wants, I would do the same thing you did. I would give him my blessings. You are so wonderful, and such a great mom.
This isn't what I wanted its what he wanted. So I had to let him go with my blessings And I am full of all those emotions.
Oh honey you must be full of emotions - sad, proud, worried. I am so proud of him, and of you. Your son may be a man on his way to defend his country, but he's still your baby!
