Higher Power Healing

For those here that believe in a Higher Power to Heal:
Check with your local church / parish as to when they have healing services. I know most religions have these available. I have many friends who belong to different religions.
I am Catholic and have found that alot of Catholics don't really understand Healing Services. But if you call your local church and ask them when their next Mass for Healing / Sick is, they will tell you. Most Catholic churches do have one of these services about every 3-4 months. They publish them in their bulletins. Most Catholics believe in order to go receive this blessing/sacrament they need to be on their deathbed (although some of us do feel like that). If you are battling an addiction or illness, or problem with your significant other, go to one of these services and get the blessing.
Everyone here always preaches "you can't do this by yourself". So why not put it in God's hands?
I have a dear high school friend who kicked H through God only. He is now a minister in the inner city and helps people with addiction problems. Something good actually came out of his troubles.
