How do people not OD on advil if theyre vicodin/percocet addicts

Maybe a dumb question? Ive always used oxycontin which doesnt have advil/tylenol, but I am curious all the people on here that say they take anywhere up to 30 vicodin/perc/lortab/norco pills a day, how do they not OD on advil? Isnt that like over a few thoursand mg's?

uhmmm....I dont think the body "deals with it better"..  I think anyone taking 25 or 30 vicodin a day is doing serious damage to thier body.  And I was one of those people.  I did it...and I can tell you first hand that it's horrible on your body.  The body cannot handle or break down that much chemical at one time.  Prolonged, heavy use like this can and will cause major, permanant damage to your liver and other organs.

just like anything you take you build a tolerance for it yes it can still cause all the bad stuff but for people that started out low dose and gradually went to a higher dose then the body can deal with it better sut still is not safe tyl or ibprofen is bad for the system

I wondered that all the time and I was only do the most of 7 5/500 vics a day. When I came clean to my pcp she ran a liver post narcotic screen because I was worried and all came back fine. I do remember a few years ago they ( FDA or some govt agency) were talking about taking vics off of the market because of people going into liver failure with taking them and mixing with other actiminaphine containing drugs.I guess upto 7000 mgs a day of actiminaphine is ok but still I dont know why.lol I guess i gave you a dumb answer  or better yet no answer :)
