How to Put Up a Christmas Tree

Ok guys, here are the pictures I promised. This is a 4 foot Charlie Brown tree and yet it looks great put up this way. So no expensive tree, just a little over crowded tree from the back yard that needed to be culled anyway  for the health of the forest.  The kitties can’t get into it, the ornaments hang away from the tree so they are displayed beautifully, and there is plenty of floor space for Santa. Oh yes, I love how all the ornaments have a story. I have one very fragile thin glass bulb that has survived since the turn of the century before last; I made batches of porcelain ornaments for the births of my children; They in turn made ornaments at various ages; and I know who gave us all the others as Christmas presents. I should probably put little tags on them so that when my kids put up the upside down tree with their kids ( I hope) they will know where the surviving ornaments came from. Merry Christmas.

Where does the Angel go?

There is an angel at the top - the trunk of the tree - and there is a star hanging straight down from the bottom - the top of the tree.  Hmmm...Ya got that?

The ornaments on my tree are homemade too.  All the things were made by my kids and now my grandson.  Putting up my tree always brings back such good memories.......sara
