Hubby is worried..

This morning I was getting ready for work and he commented again on the amount of weight I’ve dropped (hey, a woman never gets tired of hearing that… lol).  He asked how much I have lost and I told him I didn’t know.  He asked me to weigh myself.  A little over 30 pounds.  He says he is worried that something is wrong.  In the last couple of weeks I have also been complaining of stomach pain/cramping.  I told him that not only during the week of tapering and then quitting this week, my appetite is weak.  And before that, I never ate when I took my pills because I didn’t want it to affect the feeling they gave me.  I knew that food in your system took away from that, so I always made sure my stomach was empty.  Well in the last couple months as my abuse got even worse, I would never eat because I was always popping pills.  More at a time, and more often.  I have also heard that stomach pain/cramping is part of w/d which I also told him.

Have any of you experienced this?  I know he’s worried between the pain and weight but I really think it is due to my abuse.  He is still begging me to get checked out.  If I did that I would have to be honest with my doctor about what I think it is, and I really don’t want to do that.

Amazingly enough I'm not having stomach issues as far as the Imodium stuff goes.  I thought I would, but I haven't.  Just pains and cramping, nothing else.

Are you taking Imodium?  Maybe that will help.  I also ate ice cream believe it or not - it was one of the only things I could stomach.  It gave me energy and made my stomach feel a lot better.

During my use I would eat once a day.  Since trying to quit I sometimes eat 2 times a day.  I am hungry most of the time but nothing sounds good.  I hope this goes away...

I have been clean for 4 days (with a week of tapering before that).  I know that some of the weight loss was from before, while I was heavily using.  Maybe he is just noticing more now because the more you lose the more noticiable it becomes.  Plus in the last two weeks between tapering and w/ds that was probably the fastest I lost.

I know when I go through with w/d's I always lose a lot of weight - especially the first time.  My stomach was completely out of whack.  I did not want to eat and when I did it upset my stomach.  How long have you been clean?

i have read alot whre people have lost weight in w/d's and after..That is one thing i have never understood..i have always been pretty small..Between 110 and 125 at most( when i was not aking pills) ..When i take them i have no appetite...so i think when i quit i will blow up..
i don't know about the stomach issues, and maybe it is a part of w/d's...I am sure it is because i stay constipated so i am sure that will be my worst..
Good luck
