Is it okay to tie hubby up and toss him in the closet ?

OK soooooo this morning I am happily snuggled in my little bed its ohhhhh 7 am .I heard hubby get up about 6:30 . So there is am dreaming my wonderful fussy dreams .When wonderful hubby takes a huge basket of laundry and throws it all over his side of the bed of course it did not just land on his side of the bed it landed on my head as well.

Then he promptly leaves the room (smart choice ) .Soooooooo at first I am thinking ohhh I am just going to push it off my head and go back to sleep .Rightttttttttttttttt so I start thinking of all of the things everyone in the house does for this man .We go out of our way to make life easy for MR Avis all of the time .Mr avis's job in this house are fold laundry !!!!!!!!!!Noctie that would be his only job . Of course the more I think of this the more P issed off I get. Until I am so angry there is no way I can fall back asleep .Soooooo I stomp my way up the stairs proceed to tell hubby off with some pretty descriptive words before I stomp back down the stairs .While I am going back down the stairs he mutters the two most hated word in Mrs Avis vocabulary "ohhhhhh whatever ""... I stop for a moment I look to either side of me for something to throw at him .Nothing is readly available So I continue down the stairs back to my bed .So I lay in bed thinking of all sorts of unpleasant things to do to dear Mr Avis ...Sooooo I ask would it be OK to tie him up ,tape his mouth shut and toss him in the closet .I wont leave him there forever .....(mainly because then I would have a bigger mess I would have to clean up ).Just say for the weekend ?

damn lazy men:) just make sure he does not enjoy being tied up. maybe it's time for mr. avis to have a bigger chore list. fold laundry, vaccum, cook, dishes and everynight give mrs. avis a massage before bed, hehe

Oh man, I went through something similar last week, and I'm still getting over it!  So, you are preachin' to the choir here sistah, and I'd happily tell you it's perfectly ok to tie him up and chuck his butt in the closet....however, it might bode better for you to get out of the house pronto, and do something just by yourself, or with a friend.  I left my house that particular day and took a drive....I blasted my tunes, sang the whole way, ate at a McD's drive thru, and walked around the mall to blow off some steam...It was not the release that beating him with a blunt object would have provided mind you, but I did not wind up in jail either, lol

Mine I have seen fold laundry once in 27 years and have seen him do dishes 3 times and only when he is very angry.. We have a basement mine goes too if he see's any house work coming for him OH wait he has swept the floor about 12 times does that count..

Lisa I was raised with 9 bro and sis we use to go to the laundry matt at midnight and take up all the washers.. I feel for you... One time my Mom had the clothes all in the station wagon filled the thing up. we thought she was going to do laundry and wanted to go so 1 sis and I hid under the cloths and my Mom went to work!!! When she saw us wondering around out front she brought us in and made us burgers and shakes A big treat as you know for a big family.. Did laundry at 2am and had a blast.. A very fond memorie...

Men And Household chores: If they even do them, They do them with resentment and do a half a$$ job, in hopes that the wife will get pi$$ed enough to do the chore themself.
Make sure the closet has a hole that you can shove the laundry threw and keep him in there til he learns to do it right and with a better attitude.

I'm not saying I do it well, mind you, but I do do it. We make regular donations to children's cloths drives; adult cloths shrunk to kid sized and dyed pink. :)

If there is a secret savas, I never found it. What puzzles me most is that I actually enjoy helping my wife with the chores. I do laundry, vacuum, dishes, dysting, etc. etc. etc. Mind you, I do not do this on a continual basis. When she goes to bingo or to help one of the children or visiting with a friend, shopping  and so on, I generally finish whatever she started. She never had to ask. One of us washes, the other dries. She has arthritis so I generally do the vacuuming. The only thing I hate out of it all is making the bed. I never seem to get it right . It always looks sloppy. At this very moment she is baby sitting my daughter's house while my daughter visits your country. This has left me to do the chores. I might say however that the bed is a mess and I have no intention of making it. I'll just crawl in every night, unmade, until my wife gets back. I lied, there is something else I hate, scrubbing the bathtub.

LOL, I make the beds at our house and take out the trash. I also clean the toilets and try to take my turn at the tub and shower, I have found an easy way to clean the toilets but it drives my wife nuts to do it my way. I don't do the vacuuming too often and I am not allowed to do much of the laundry unless it is pre-sorted, want to guess why.

My wife does way more than I do and I am eternally grateful that she is there to take such good care of me, I would be lost without her.
