I just read about his death on the internet and was sad to hear, he was an amazing actor. I fell in love w/him when I saw him in The Color of Money w/Tom Cruise. Those eyes were awesome!

I fell for him big time in cool hand Luke.... He will be missed by many, he had given a lot of money away in his career to very needy organizations. He will be missed more then we will ever know.. RIP you earned your wings.. lesa

I liked him in everything I ever saw him in, but "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" was definitely my favorite, with "Cool Hand Luke" my 2nd. favorite.

Probably because several scenes in BC/SK were filmed outside my hometown of Durango CO, and I used to have a fistful of the stage money they used. He will be missed.

I liked most of his movies and respected him greatly as a man and human being...I'd have to say that "The Sting" is my favorite, though certainly he's done more "important" and artistically significant movies..

Just finish a cup of "Paul Newman's own" coffee..
