Just me, Checking in!!

HI my dear friends. Just was thinking of all of you and wanted to stop by and say hello. Even though i have not been around like i used to be doesn't mean i don't think of each one of you every day. I sincercely mean this. I miss you guys so much, and am praying that you are all doing ok.

Since my dad passed on Christmas day, i have been trying to keep busy, i found that it helps alot. There still isn't a day that passes that i miss him though. Still can't get over the fact that he is gone. Things just don't feel the same with him not here. Me and my mom went to visit his grave yesterday, that was the first time we have been there since the day of his funeral. WOW, was that hard! I have been staying with my mom alot, and trying to keep her busy also. She is slowly moving on, but still sits and cyies her eyes out every night. Evenings seem to be the hardest. The other day she called me and asked me to come over, and when i did, i walked in and she was sitting on her couch, crying and rocking back and forth. I asked her what was wrong, and she just sat there and said "There has to be a way i can get him back". She is kinda in denial. I am so lost on what to do to help her, especially when i am having a hard time myself excepting it. I know it takes time, and it will get easier, but for now, just so lost and don't know how to be around her. Me and her did go spend a girls day together yesterday. We got our hair done, and went shopping. We had a GREAT time. She even had a few laughs, but as the day went on, she was beginning to feel "guilty" for having a little fun. I told her it was ok to laugh, and it was ok to have fun. But to her, she thinks she should still be sitting at home doing nothing. Oh boy, i am sorry guys...Here i am going on and on. Guess i just needed someone to vent to is all. I am sorry!

Anyway guys, i miss you all and wanted to check in to say hi and see how you all were doing. I am going to head to bed here now, have to get up early, busy day at work tomorrow. I will check in as much as i can this week. Hope i get the chance to talk to you (you know who you are). My wonderful, wonderful friends.

Glad to hear from you!! You are a wonderful daughter to your mom (and your dad). You know he appreciates the heck out of you spending so much time with your mom. She will start to heal. It takes time. Give each other lots of hugs.
Take care of yourself and keep writing. You sound like you are feeling a little better than you were for your last post. Keep looking forward and know that you are loved!

Hi - Im fairy new here, so Im a friend you just havent met yet! LOL  I am so sorry for your loss.  I will keep you and your mom in my prayers.  I think that the guilt you were saying your mom had is pretty common for the ones left behind.  That is really so hard.  I feel for you two.  Its nice that you got to spend some nice girl time together.  Keep hanging in there and God bless  you.  Kim

Great to hear from you and am so glad you are able to help your mom.  Hang inthere.  Ditto goes for thinking about you all, I just don't get online much but have not and will not forget my dear friends here.
