If you could only be left here on earth to live "FOREVER" with, with only ONE person, who would you choose? And Why? Remember can only choose ONE person!
Not sure yet Shel...It is a tough question, but a good one! Take your time, don't need to answer right now, it'll give you something to think about for awhile! Could you imagine though, if that day came and we actually had to pick only one person to spend our life with on earth? Ya never know...So think girl think....Ok, i will pick yours for you...
I kept quiet but when that one spineless worthless crappy person comes over writes one time doesn't even defend what she said which is what we all know, we didn't get to where we are today having never seen a therapist or been to a 12 step meeting. The adivce we all knew it was okay. The demeanor and motive was less that to be desired. She did it for the results she got, and notice hasn't been back since. But... you can best believe she's still in our business even right now, lurching around with a couple others only to surface when they get bored over there and feel like stirring up trouble. I'll give them a couple days. You can expect it. so predictable .lather ,rince
repeat.
Anyway, we really were and are close, but at times I could be a bit too pedantic for her.
During one of these time she looked at me and sweetly said: "You know . . . if the doctor told me I only had 6 months to live, I'd want to spend it with you."
"Really?" I asked, sure that she had been impressed with the point I had been arguing.
"Oh yes," she replied, "BECAUSE SIX MONTHS WITH YOU WOULD SEEM LIKE FOREVER."
She's doing very well these days. When I first met her she was fresh out of the D.C. jail and for almost a year before that she had lived in a box behind a dumpster in an alley. It was behind a pizza hut, so there was pleanty of pizza in the dumpster. That was the end of a four year crack run that had started out west when she was an attorney & RN. She absolutely looked like death the day I first met her. It was amazing to watch her literally reconstruct herself before my eyes. She's a good egg.
I dont know, Id have to pick between my 3 kids. Or should I ditch them all and just go for a lover..........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah, Id have to say goodbbye to all kids so noone would feel favored. It would be my last lover, the harmonica player.

I have a very good friend that I met at my first rehab. I was there for just a month and "went back out" within days of getting home. She stayed there 3 months and then went on to "after care" at the place where I showed up for my second (and last) rehab just 4.5 months after I left the first.
