Most of us are neat freaks ?

I was just noticing on the other post that most of us here are either neat freaks, controlling or OCD of some sort.  I wonder if that is related to why we got addicted. The drugs gave us that energy we needed to keep everything in it's place and jugle all these balls.  Do we expect too much from ourselves ??????????

In todays society I strongly feel as if there is too much pressure on ladies.  Most work out of the home, children are more active in sports, everyone wants the American dream with the white fence and more.  Need I say more?

Of course you are right - I was making a little joke about the habits of OCD people - I am certainly not neat ...... and can only control myself barely - So I wonder whre that leaves me?

strange u mentioned this...we noticed that at my meeting...we were all over responsible types..this was an AA meeting with a mixture of drug addicts and alcholics...but i think addictive behavior runs true no matter what the DOC is....every single one of us was an over acheiver....ummmm..perhaps we put too much pressure on ourselves
