My Higher Power ...

For those that dont know my situation, heres a little bit of back ground. Nearly 3 years ago I was caught with less than a quarter gram of coke...to make a long story short....I went to court, plead guilty...and my sentence was a year and a day and apply....I had been clean over a year when the police caught up with me...drug testing and NA meetings went along with bail and I just kept doing the right next thing...I went to court on nov. 30th and the judge granted me probation for 2 years...that's it...

I guess what I'm saying is....if you continue to do the next right thing for the right reasons...things work out as they should. I strongly suggest going to NA meetings and seeing if they are right for you...they work...they have real people that is or has gone through what you are going through...

if you're clean or trying to get clean..then you are open to suggestions...I simply suggest trying NA meetings...

just keep doing the next right thing..

been wondering what the outcome was...i remember when you posted that you had court coming up.

I never knew a lot about NA, other than my now late son met with them while in jail near Atlanta...they were a big help to him and he credited them with helping stay clean...what was nice was I was in the process of trying to stay clean from Vicodin and it gave he and I something in common, sad as it was, but I'll never forget those times..telling him how proud I was when he got his 90 button.. Sadly, he turned to alcohol which unfortunately killed him, though accidentally...during his hospital stay, though he was on life support, I came to know many people from his NA group and it was a blessing meeting them...he went to work for a group of them and a group from a local church near Atlanta and they opened a diner called "Rosies" in Acworth, GA....I recommend anyone go there...some of the most enrouraging people I've ever met
