My trip to the butcher... I mean doctor

Went to the wrist doctor yeserday for the cyst on my wrist (getting one on the other wrist too!).. So I went for a CONSULT.  I meet the doctor who is training an intern and happy to see the issue so he could show his intern.  

Had an x-ray - both wrists.

Next thing I know he is SHOVING two huge needles into my wrist (without Novocain!) and poking, pulling, squishing and draining and moving the needles around.. then a third huge needle to inject cortisone.  

Mind you I had just met him 3 minutes earlier and he didnt even buy me dinner *ha*

Ouch!  

Then he told me to ice it, keep it in a brace for a month and banned me from kickboxing forever.  Apparently my wrists show signs of arthritis and are weak.  BLA.

Awwwww my poor baby. At least you can't kickbox anymore, i was getting afraid you might be able to kick my *** soon lol.  Glad your wrist is  not as sore now tho.

Are you sure your wrists are not weak from something else? I feel bad for your man now, haha. Have a good weekend RB. Enjoy the game:)

Im sure it is black and blue.  I would of been laying on the floor passed out!!  Hopefully the cortisone will do the trick.  Those cysts are really painful........

Actually Sarah, it feels a lot better today!  My whole wrist is a bit swollen and black and blue big time,but I think the cortisone injection helped cause its NOT as sore as it was before I went..
