This site has really helped me the last 3 days from all the info i have read. I was addicted to vicodins about 4yrs ago. I was taking around 15-20 M360's a day for about a year back then, lost almost everything i had, then checked myself into rehab. They gave me suboxin and sum other stuff for all the withdrawls, which helped alot, it was just pretty emotionally draining once i got out. I stayed clean almost the entire past 4yrs until 3 months ago. I took a couple for a headache, then the next day it was exactly back to where i left almost 4yrs ago. Instantly back to 15 per day. So exactly 14 days ago I went cold turkey, the withdrawls were no where near as bad as the first time, but the restless legs were worse. But anyways my question I'd like help with is: How long does the cloudy head and the not really feeling yourself last. I dont remember from last time, and I just dont feel right. Or like myself....So if anyone could help or give a suggestion, id really appreciate it

I had a large and longstanding habit myself - decades - I felt like my head was full of cotton candy instead of brains for about a month and a half - after the bad w/d's were  history. There is a post on forum called The Thomas Recipe - look it up. The vitamins and supplements are good for the RLS and also nutrition. Zinc supplements, multi-vitamin, b-comoplex, l-tyrosine and others willl help you get past that more quickly. Your post caught my direct attention because of our similarities. Chronic pain, longstanding, not too many answers from the doc's, and even less good advice. Keep your nutrition up and supplement the heck out of your body. You probably used up a lot of the good things during your use.

This post would be better on the substance abuse addiction forum.(Link near top in blue). Just copy this and go to the other forum and post a question. That side is much more active than here.
