Here in Australia we have ANZAC day on 25th April to HONOUR our soldiers that have have fought in the Boer War in the 1800s to the present day,ANZAC stands for Australian,New Zealand Army Corps. We have parades where our returned servicemen march down the main Rds of our cities the general public line the streets cheering them for all their sacrifices keeping us the free country we are today. On the 11/11 at 11am every year we have a minutes silence for all our fallen heroes we call this rememberance day.Where ever you are shops, work, doctors office everything stops for one minute. In our RSL clubs,RSL stands for Returned Servicemans League at 6pm everynight we have a minutes silence to remember our fallen heroes our Servicemens Oath is read and the Last Post is played. Then we have ANZUS that is our treaty it stands for Australia,New Zealand,United States. My children have been raised to HONOUR all our servicemen in all of the armed services
