Odd allergies.

After reading about sadinmichigans daughter Clara I began to wonder how many odd allergies people might have. I, for instance, am allergic to my own sweat. If I sweat too much I break out with hives all over my body. If I read a newspaper I begin to sneeze, probably from the ink used to print it. Perfume absolutely destroys me. I am also allergic to certain types of cooking aromas which puzzles me because I am not allergic to food. . The strangest thing is that soaps, which contain perfumes etc. don't bother me at all. I can stand in a field filled with pollen and it will not affect me yet, if I enter a greenhouse all hell breaks loose. I figure it must be the chemical sprays they use. When my wife cleans the floors or cleans the oven I have to leave for several hours. Do any of you have strange or not too common allergies? Hmmnn!

I am allergic to the following;
Chocolate
Bees
The smell that car companies put in new cars to get that "new car smell". Seriously, when I buy a new car, I have to order it directly from the manufacturer so it is not treated with the chemiclals they use.
Certain types of tomatoes
And this is the funny one, please for adult eyes only.......but when I was dating in college, I met a guy who became a steady for 3 years and it turned out I was allergic to him....my body rejected "him" and caused me to get an allergic reaction anytime we didn't use the type of protection that a guy wears. I would beak out in hives all over, my face would swell, I'd have a hard time breathing and my wrists would itch...Since I was in med school, I went to one of the labs and told them what was going on and sure enough, some people can be "allergic" to one another.

I got tested once and found out I was allergic, to varying degrees, to everything... but pigs.

So I got allergy shots, which helped alot.
