People on the street

Has anyone ever looked at strangers and thought to themselves, "I wonder if that person is an addict". I always envied complete strangers while I was high. I thought to myself "They have no clue how lucky they are to not be addicted to something" I envied their natural energy and natural love for life. I thought how nice would it be to want to be out and about, doing things, living life...sober. Now, I see strangers and wonder if they too are secretly an addict. And I am so sure that so many are that I would never guess...It is amazing the thought process....huh???

Oh that is too funny!  I have thought the same thing many times.  And I am sure they have no idea how lucky they are.  They are probably just worried about everyday life.  Life is so much easier clean - we should start a seminar on why not to do drugs.  We could scare the **** out of everyone and maybe save a lot of people a lot of heartache.

how many times i have done that!!!!  Even people on tv..Too funny...then i would make myself feel better by saying they have to be on SOMETHING!!!
kind of like when i had a miscarriage..Every where i turned there was a baby or someone pregnant..it was like i could not go no where without seeing someone with a baby....
Then after i had one, i never noticed it and still don't..in fact i look at people with new borns and think WEW i am glad that i am out of that stage....WEIRD!!!

Ya know, I think about that often. About going and talking to others and maybe even kids, about not doing drugs or telling my story to try and scare them. But then I would have to really come out to everyone and I am not sure I could do that. But I can help people on here...or I can try...We can certainly help each other...

And no, they have no clue how lucky they truly are...
