What are some of your biggest Pet Peeves? Here is just one of mine:

Always, when I am running late and in a huge hurry, I inevitably get behind some Slow Poke driving in front of me. Usually driving below the speed limit. My departed Daddy would say, "Out for a Sunday drive".  The signal ahead would turn yellow. Then, the idiot will floor it, and just barely make it through the signal. Of course, I am stuck behind at the red light.  Then, when the stinking light turns green, I catch right up to him, driving slow as molasses!

Yeah, my daughter is a blue belt in Tae Kwan Do, I taught her boxing, she can knock the breath out of ME. Snotty kids shouldn't be protected of a dose of their own medicine. I'm a pacifist, don't believe bombs should exist, but I might let you poke me, pull my hair, or trip up to 3 times. I told my daughter I will back her all the way and she will not be in trouble at home at all, I trust her to tell the truth. I explained she would be helping the next generation and all the kids who have to deal with that bully in the future, this is not just about her. Apparently being home schooled isn't cool to rich kids whos parents make money instead of teaching their kids manners.

This happened just yesterday. When a parent who's kid is being bullied and injured tells me that I am wrong to tell my kids they can take matters in their own hands if teachers and administration can't stop the bullies. Granted, I am a Texas Hillbilly, starting a fight is not okay, but  being the last one standing is a good thing.

@ DS Your right!! You would be surprised at the people that don't even realize that they should do this!

@BSAS I am right there with you!! Ugh! Parents making excuses for their kids bad manners drives me up the **** wall!

Which brings me to one more pet peeve..

Parents who all their kids to come spend the night with my kids without even meeting me or knowing my name! Thank God they are safe here but dear Lawd, you never know what goes on behind closed doors and it's insane to let your kids just go anywhere..

another one is the BEST FRIEND parent who is scared of upsetting their child. They dress and act like their teenagers, gossip, all to be the cool mom in their childs eyes.
I love my kids and they know I have an open door policy where they can talk to me about anything but they have friends at church, school, etc! I AM MOM! I don't care if they get mad! I am looking to raise productive citizens not entitled brats.. The real world isn't going to kiss their behinds..

RESPECT for your elders!! Drives me insane at the lack of respect youngsters have these days.. An elderly person could be standing and Ive seen kids who never once stood and offered them a seat!! That really ****** me off and I don't care whos kid it is I will always tell them to get up and let the elderly have a seat.

I think this falls into more respect and manners than anything.....

When you see flashing lights and hear sirens coming from an ambulance or fire truck PLEASE pull over.  Same with a funeral procession.  Turn your lights on also as that shows respect to the family.

Kids who aren't taught manners!  I have a friend who has a 7 yr old daughter. The last time they came over her daughter was jumping on my couch. Her mom didn't say anything so I asked her to please quit jumping on the furniture. Her mom then said that it was ok because she allows her to do it at home. That is her business but it is my home and my couch!  Uugghh!

Everyone knows it isn't nice to say anything about overweight people yet they think it is ok to say things to underweight people!  I get accused of having eating disorders or been told that I shouldn't starve myself for a man. Have even had people hand me food or tell me to go eat a cheeseburger!  I eat all the time!  I am just naturally small. Drives me crazy that people don't think its rude!

I freaking wish!! I have to tell this man when to get up, when to go to bed, when to stop the truck, when to start the truck! He is so lazy and acts so stupid. (I'm not entirely sure its all an act! lol)

My turn! lol  It drives me bat sh!t crazy when my stupid bf acts incompetent, or purposefully does stuff incorrectly just so I'll end up doing it. Ughh!! He can't clean, do laundry, go into a grocery store, do his paperwork for work, or basically do any thinking on his own without massively screwing it up. Lazy fool!!

People who let their children act crazy in public drives me nuts! Kids act crazy, throw a huge fit and the parent bribes them/buys them something so they will stop.

parents who make excuses for their childs bad behavior / ill manners!!

seeing people dressed to the nines.. Kids all have ipads, cellphones, latest shoes etc but then they buy their groceries with food stamps! My kids don't get near everything they want because I have to pay for what they need.. IE: groceries!

I was faced with one more pet peeve last night.  We close at midnight where i work so i lock the doors, shut off the lights and pumps....Only light on is inside the store so i can do the till...A car pulls up and knocks on the door, the chick mouths "are you closed"?  How i dont snap is beyond me.......ugghh

Texting while driving!!!   Makes me just nuts!!  How dare you endanger everyone else on the road while we all have to watch out for you!!  This activity has to be banned...

As for spandex...no one over age 6 should go near it!!

As far as the Cell Phones and Texting...I am going to open up a Cell Phone, Talk & Text Re-Hab. When you first come in your head will be tilted to the right or left..I will take the phones always and put olives on all of your fingers and toes.And some duct tape over your mouth. You will have some small holes in the tape for eating or drinking by a straw. Oh, I guess we could take it off during meals. There will be NO phones around at ALL..They will be watched like a hawk. There will be meetings and process groups..There will be big penalties to pay if you sneak out or use a phone..Finally when you have done good and the olives can be removed and your Head gets straight up again then maybe you can leave..So it is all up to how fast you can straighten your head up.Ha!

OH! Sarah..Do not get me going on those pants..I have seen some real heavy people where them so tight you can see every cellulite in their skin. AND they like to wear a SHORT Tank top too..And it usually has to be some bright shinning colors.."Whos there Mama"? They can dress up but they are not going with me..lol

Speaking of PEA..with out a Pet..I know this Drama Queen  that I swear if a Pea falls on the floor, she will scream and freak out and just go on & on, like it was a meteorite that came through the roof..OMG these people lost their minds to Drugs & Booze way to long ago. You know they make a BIG Meteorite out of a small Pea..OK! Everybody stay safe and no wearing any tight shining Spandex unless you are going to wear a LONG Baggie Shirt down to your knees or a long night gown..Ha!! lol

Yes!  It is really annoying when you can't distinguish who you are conversing with--is it Mr Bluetooth or is Mr Bluetooth in his own conversation?!?

We have become a society of finger licking, double dipping, snot blowing, nose picking, spandex wearing, Bluetooth using a**holes that can't bother to say goodbye while hanging up the phone!

You know what always got me? When you're talking to someone on the phone and they don't say goodbye!! They just hang up! WTF is that? Bad manners for sure. I am a manners person. I think people have lost that art these days. Please, thank-you, excuse me, I'm sorry, Goodbyes after a phone call. All that stuff. C'mon people, let's be courteous to each other!!

Then you respond to what the Bluetooth person says, and they turn around to show they aren't speaking to you. Ugh!

Wow, I agree with weaver.  For being such understanding, caring, nonjudgemental people--we have turned this into quite a rant!!

I am with everyone on their nasty disgusting germ issues.  Some people are just icky!

As far as cell phones go, how about those people that keep their Bluetooth attached to their ears ALL of the time?!?  I went out for dinner once and this older guy was at the table and he proceeded to answer social call after social call and never bothered to remove his earpiece to talk with the live people sitting at the table with him...

Companies that have people on their help desks that don't speak English well.  No matter how hard I try, there are some I just can't understand and after waiting 15 minutes to talk to someone it's very frustrating.
I used to try and be so polite but now I just tell them that I can't understand them and to please put me through to someone that I can.
I know it's not their fault and I don't want to be rude but I need my computer, internet, satellite, etc. fixed and I can't understand a word they are saying.
Is this a ploy?

I asked my 12 yr old daughter what she thought about the Spandex. She said the worst is when someone wears a G-string and they don't even have enough butt to hide it. If you can still see the string, don't wear it!

My biggest peeve is when someone asks me if something is wrong and I say nothing is wrong and they continue to say something is wrong with me. That gets me in a bad mood every time! I also am ocd about food. I  always scared to eat what someone else makes because you never know what they did to it or if hands are clean.
