Prayers for El_em_en_oh

Hi everyone.  I want to let you all know that a friend of ours here at MH could really use some prayers right now.  El_em_en_oh has been in the hospital since August 19 for kidney surgery.  There were complications resulting ininternal bleeding that required another surgery yesterday.  Aside from the original 5 small laparascopic incisions, he now has a 1.5" incision in his back and a 1.75" abdominal incision.  He's not very happy about having to be on IV pain meds and this morning refused anything but oral norco.    His SA recovery is extremely important to him, hence his decision to stop the IV pain meds sooner than the doctors recommend.  I can't begin to imagine the pain he is enduring right now.  Please keep LMNO in your prayers for a speedy recovery.  :-)

Wow, my prayers go out to him.  May he recover fully.  He is a true example to learn from about the desire to stay clean.  Who are we to complain about our aches and pains when some people deal with what our friend here is dealing with.

You are a true role model for all of us El_em_en_oh.  Best wishes for a speedy return to health

Oh lmno I know exactaly what you are going through I had a partial nephrectomy in nov. Mine was the full 8 in incision from back to front. I know the pain is intense and meds are
nessecary I had a safety plan with my pain meds and I think that made the differance. My thoughts are so with you this is one of those life on lifes terms kind of thing. Use themeds that you need and be accountable to a few people with them and you'll do fine. Plus as long as you use as needed and as prescribed you keep your clean time.  I will pray. Becca

Prayers going up for him....I think we all fear serious injuries and situations that will jeopardize our recovery....I do not even want to go to the dentist....I sure hope he gets better.
