Question - Kinda weird I guess

hey guys,

this is kind of a weird question and i guess i feel more comfortable posting here than in the main forum.  i eventually got into the habit of crushing / snorting pills.  i've been clean for like 6 months and my nose still feels all messed up.  by messed up...i mean dry and i don't feel like i can smell things as well as before.  and it hurts.  just plain hurts.

did anyone do something stupid like me?  does your nose ever go back to normal?? i feel like such a freak (although there are NO signs on the outside that i did something like this)...it's one of those things that like, you think people can "see" just because it bothers you.  

sorry it was a weird/gross question but who else am i gonna ask :P

You might have done some damage, but it's probably able to repair itself.  Ayr makes a product sold OTC that can re-aturate your nose on a daily basis and it's chemical free.  I'm not sure what it's called though.  You might also want to flush your nose out at night with warm water to helpt it along.  Perhaps you just burned out some nose hair or something or agitated the capillaries.
You can post this question on the medical forum where you can get an aswer from the forum doc.
I euqate snorting pills with doing coaine as far as treating those symptoms goes.

There was a time when i too sniffed pills... It was quite some time ago but I have been there... Your nose should heal itself.. try saline spray to keep it moisturized.. You may have done some damage to the cilia lining of your nose therefore the change is smells.. If this continues I would see a doc.. The pills go into your lungs as well when you do this so I would maybe get your lungs checked out too..
