**Recession, Depression**

Do you think we are headed for one.  It's not looking good..Are we in denial?  This country?  Im so confused and wonder what the heel is going to happen.  I am overwhelmed  by the news, stock market, foreclosures, political promises, new drugs for everything.........What is happening to this world.....God help me!  lol.

I guess what i am saying is.....I feel like I am in a bubble looking out ....telling myself everything is going to be alright not being reassured when I look at the news everyday.....watching my money disappear and not knowing what to do, being advised in both directions.......I don't even know what a recession or depression is......i know its not  good..lol

Is this a question or a journal?  I guess you decide.

Florida has been in a recession for 2 years now.  I actually was on the local news 2 years ago trying to tell them what was about to happen. The news wasn't reporting it. It was like they were in denial (if we don't say anything then it's not really happening) I think they just thought I was one of those dooms day people.  Now, everything I said is happening.  Crime rate skyrocketing, homeless people living in abandoned houses, closed signs on a bunch of business's. I personally know about 20 people who have lost their jobs.  

The really scary thing is it's suppose to get worse.  Say your prayers everyone, where in for a long, nasty ride.

So "we" are in denial......its not just me?.......do feel better.......NO!   With the Holiday season coming I guess we will really see.  Suicide rate is up, crisis hot lines calls are skyrocketing......oiy

As my father used to say......rest his soul......."Put your head between your legs and kis you *** goodbye"  

Mary they probably did think you were a nut then......see what we nutz can do?  We need to put our nutz together and Save the World.......No McCain, no Obama is going to save us.......whats gonna give?  Someone put it well "doom and gloom" oiy!

Rick Santorum used to be a U.S. Senator in PA and he said all this about the same time you did Mary - or maybe earlier.  Anyway, he was honest about a lot of things and he lost his seat because of it.  Now, look at the economy and everything he warned about is happening.  Too bad, he was a good guy!!!

I believe we're in for a depression!  Just my opinion and so I've been buying extra food when I go shopping every single time not just for my human family but my cats too.  I'm thinking of putting money somewhere in my home too to be prepared!  You never know!!!

Personally, I see the last days written all over things these days!  I could be wrong, but it's just my gut feeling!!!
