Share Your Yummy Recipes for the Holidays!!

Hey, with the holiday season here, does anybody feel like sharing some of their favorite recipes??  May sound kinda corny, but I'd love to try out some new things this year.  Nothing too complicated, but maybe something you recently had and liked, a personal favorite, or an old family recipe that's stood the test of time.  A couple of categories ideas might be:

~ Appetizers or Dips
~ Soups or Casseroles
~ Baked Goods & Desserts (no special brownies)
~ A new twist on an old favorite
~ Ideas for Leftovers
~ General tips and ideas for making traditional things even better

How 'bout it ... anybody have anything??

a friend gave me this recipe for ambrosia a couple of weeks ago.  it was a huge hit, with everyone wanting the recipe.

EASY ambrosia

3 cans madarin oranges (drained)
1 large can crushed or chunked pineapple (drained)
1 jar of cherries, sliced
1/2 bag of coconut (or more for your taste)
sour cream

mix and chill.  cant get any easier than this...and the sour cream really gives this a punch.  very yummy ! ! !
