Snow Storms (yay I got mine finally), how about you?

I know a lot of you have already had tons of snow this season but around here we've had a poor winter, hardly any storms at all with low accumulations.  We finally got a decent one yesterday! So far we have 11" and several more inches today to come along with 40 mph winds so we should have some HUGE DRIFTS forming!! My son has his 2nd SNow Day in a row today (they closed most of the schools LAST NIGHT already which is very rare!) and now they are talking about another weekend storm coming (just a little ALberta Clipper this time though). Im so excited we finally are getting snow! About damn time!    How many of you guys are getting hammered? How much snow do you have, how much are u supposed to get?

We're supposed to get 2-4"...fortunately New Hampshire has lucked out this year.

We have had close to 60 inches this year and our heavy snow months arent even here yet.......Cancun here i come........

We just got about 8 inches and already had 2 inches on the ground. We have some strong winds right now at about 35mph. So far this year we have had about 35 inches of snow total but not all at one time. A little over a month ago we had about 11 inches at one time. That's the most we've had at once this year. They closed school for 2 days then but didn't close it after this past snow storm. I love the snow so bring it on!!!

We usually have a LOT more than we are getting now..but later in the month and early March are the heavy months for us (new hampshire) and I hate the stuff..fortunately my daughter likes to run the snow thrower so I can sit back and drink coffee and watch and make sure she doesn't gobble up a cat.

I'm going to Jamaica though..

Well then start the begging!!! I wanna hear it!!!! Better make it good and then I'll decide if I want to trade places!! I'd love to be up there for the ice fishing! So, you have to get me one of those really nice ice fishing huts first! Cable with a plasma is a must! But then again, I think you should stay so you can fry the fish!

Oh...we are getting snow....so happy..snowed ALL day...but melted pretty fast....finally temp dropped and it started sticking....grands are soooo excited...hope it snows all night...

Eewwww yucky yucky I couldn't live where the weather get that cold and snows I would die haha I love the weather here in fl where it's usually around 80 on Christmas but it is freezin here right now it's like 57 way to cold for my blood haha but hey as long as it makes u happy have fun in the cold stuff haha

57??  That is swimsuit time here!!  A friend of mine sent me a pic yesterday and there was REAL grass on the ground and it had a hint of green on it.  All i could think about was running thru the grass barefoot.....

Yea it's sunny and nice out now up around 70 here no snow it doesn't snow here thank god there would b wrecks everywhere if it did we don't know how to drive on ice down here

left florida on thursday and drove 4 hours to see my granddaughter in alabama.  good thing i saw her later that afternoon because friday, al/ga was hit with snow...NOT THE NORM ! ! !  we got 3 whole inches...lol...just enough to be a pain.  now the roads will be iced over and i probably wont be able to see her again today (sat)...ggggrrrrr.  i am NOT a happy camper right now :(

I would be calling the DOT and letting them know you need to get to your granddaughters house....I bet she is getting a personality now and knows when grandma is there!!!!  I cant wait till my new grandbaby is born!!!  Its taking forever.......sara

We got aboout 6 inches in NY. We have had an easy winter so far. Usually it is a lot worse than this. 6 inches is good for me. Just enough so the kids can go out and ride their sleds but not enough to make driving terrible..

We've had a fairly easy winter in NH so far, however....6-10" due tonight.  And my stepson is flying in due at the height of the storm.

I want snow we had like 3 inches the first week of dec and it was gone the same day. I would love some snow ,sled, snowman, snow ball fight .
Don't want folks hurt or roofs to cave or anything. I got tons of rain if anyone is interested lol
