Sun Morn checkin

Good morning all, it is about 9 am here in so cali.   Just want to check in and let y'all know that today is day 31 for me.  I thought I was done with the sneezes but guess not, I have sneezed a few times already and have only been up a couple of hours.   Now that my tummy tuck has healed a bit more the sneezes arent as bad, whew! i never realized how many muscles we use to sneeze!!!

I am feeling things more passionately, sights, smells, tastes, sounds.   The trees are brighter and I feel I can even breathe better.   Im not completely at ease yet, still getting my "sea legs" so to speak but I am so grateful to be on my way.   Im connecting with my higher power again (which is many things to me).    My eyes are different.

Im off to a pow wow today and cant wait to hear the songs and dance.  Oh yeah, I'll bet the fry bread will be great too!

Im so glad to see people here and wish everyone a progressive day.  That might mean feeling that first glimpse of hope.  It may mean being in the pit of wds.   Or it could mean that you are paving the way to make a decision to get clean.   Whereever you are on this journey, you are not alone.  We have all been there, will be there, could be there.

Hang on, time really does heal.

I really needed this post right now.  Hearing where you stand at 31 days makes me want to be in the same place.  Thank you.  I am going to reread this and remind myself of why I want to be clean.

In the other post you talked about talking NA stuff and I would LOVE to talk to you about that.  I have never been through NA but it is something I want to learn about.  I was set to go to a meeting for the first time last night, but ended up home with a horrible toothache (infected tooth).  I am looking forward to going though.

congrats, glad things are finally working out for you...yes every muscle in tummy is used for coughing and sneezing, i realized that after the hysterectomy...i had to hold a pillow on my tummy...And my kids would try to make me laugh, and that killed me..
But i bet your tummy is beautifull, just like you, so it will all be worth it..

WOW...You made it to 31 days after your sugery! My hats off to you!!!!!

I now you had a little persuasion w/ the meds after your surgery, but it's great to hear that you got off, and now on day 31..you did it and deserve every minute of it..!!!
